Pre-school action-animation Super Wings is flying into Cannes to showcase its offerings at this October’s Mipcom Jr event.
The series follows the adventures of a jet plane called Jett who travels the world delivering packages to children and his flying friends, the Super Wings, a group of robot heroes.
The property is a unique US/South Korea/China co-production, produced by South Korean firm, FunnyFlux Entertainment, Chinese firm QianQi Animation and Little Airplane Production in the US.
Emmy award winner, Josh Selig will oversee the series’ writing, casting and voice directing.
The Alpha Group (Auldey toy brand) has already signed up as the global master toy licensee.
"Super Wings represents a unique and historic partnership between China, Korea and the United States," said FunnyFlux’s director and CEO Gil Hoon Jung.
"We believe this model of co-operation and teamwork will lead to many new series that include outstanding writing, beautiful design and state of the art 3D animation."
