Electronic Arts has signed ex Manchester United captain, Gary Neville for a FIFA Ultimate Team ambassadorial role for the 2013/14 season.
England coach and most-capped right back, Neville will contribute a regular bi-weekly column to www.easports.com/uk/fifa, looking at the Premier League in-form players and teams as well as discussing the league’s hottest topics.
He was also recently announced during the EA press conference at Gamescom as part of the Xbox exclusive FIFA Ultimate Team Legends content within FIFA 14.
The new release will see Neville feature alongside world greats including Pelé, Dennis Bergkamp and Gary Lineker.
Neville said: "It’s great to be working with the team at EA Sports. FIFA has become such an integral part of football culture that I hope to bring benefit to the fans.
"FUT really is a phenomenal success and you can see why as we all like to think we can manage an Ultimate Team of superstars, I can’t wait to see myself out on the digital pitch again."
Shaun White, EA head of UK PR, added: "We’re delighted to have signed Gary for the 2013/14 season. His knowledge of the game is unrivalled and we’ll be working together to give FIFA 14 players a deeper insight into the real world of football that will enhance their FIFA Ultimate Team experience."
