A further 78 CGI episodes of Maya the Bee are due to air from September in Russia and CIS, Studio 100 has confirmed.
Russian children’s TV channel Karusel has been airing episodes of the new-look show since March, alongside classic episodes every weekday morning.
Meanwhile, audiences in the Commonwealth of Independent States have been enjoying episodes on Ukraine’s CITI TV since mid-February. Latvia’s Latvian TV and Estonia’s Eestii will kick off the series in September.
Studio 100’s local agent, RIO Licensing, has also secured Grand Toys as the master toy partner for Maya which has launched over 59 SKUs since autumn 2012. Other partners include Chupa Chups and Egmont.
