Popular kid’s property Beyblade toys will now feature in a Kids Meal promotion launching at Burger King restaurants across 70 countries.
In the deal struck by Nelvana Enterprises and d-rights, each Kids Meal will include one of four different racing or battling Beyblade toys.
The meals will be available at participating Burger King restaurants worldwide, including the US, Canade, Latin America, Europe (excluding France), New Zealand and the Middle East.
The 2013 programme follows the success of last year’s Beyblade Burger King promotion which featured the toys in more than 3,300 restaurants across international markets.
This year, the programme expands to include the US and Canada, available at more than 11,000 locations.
The promotion will be supported with on-air, online and in-restaurant marketing campaigns.
Beyblade is now a popular franchise in more than 80 countries with more than 200 licensees and later this year the brand will see a global regeneration with the launch of Beyblade: Shogun Steel.
