City of Friends is US bound

CreaCon Entertainment is continuing to expand its City of Friends pre-school property, with the US its next target.

The first and second series of the show has been sold to new US kids content platform, Kidobi, as part of a deal agreed by Sky Vision, UK pay TV operator BSkyB’s distribution arm.

City of Friends will be available on Kidobi’s online platform and on connected devices, via the Kidobi app.

"We are delighted to be taking City of Friends to a brand new audience in North America," said Carl Christian Hamre, creator of the brand and CEO of CreaCon. "This is a great first step into the North American market for City of Friends, and we look forward to expanding our reach in this key market."

Kidobi has also acquired Castle Farm, Hana’s Helpline, Happy Valley, The Music Makers and Jakers from Sky Vision as part of a pre-school package. It will stream Sky Vision content to its premium subscribers in the US and Canada.
