Party mask specialist Mask-arade has added 1980s puppet duo Orville & Cuddles to its portfolio.
The firm will launch and distribute cardboard face masks, life size cut outs and wobbler buddies of the retro characters from mid-February.
The deal was struck by 360 Licensing.
"There’s a definite trend towards retro brands and characters – especially for cult classics like Orville & Cuddles," said Alan Shorrocks, licensing director at 360 Licensing. "With that in mind partnering with Mask-arade felt like the right fit to drive the brand forward.
"We’re sure the products will sell extremely well and we’re hoping to sign up several more licensees in the coming months."
Ray Duffy, director of Mask-arade, added: "Customers of all ages are having great fun with the masks at parties all over the country. Working with 360 Licensing has been a pleasure and we are looking forward to a very successful partnership over the coming years."
