Boom Licensing bolstered by brace

Boutique London-based agency Boom Licensing has kicked off 2013 with the signing of two new deals.

First up, the firm has been appointed to represent Alfred Shaheen, pioneer of the Hawaiian shirt.

Boom will be working with the brand’s New York agent, Product Lounge, to help develop the licensing programme in Europe. It will be looking at sectors including apparel, sportswear and outdoor furnishings.

In addition, Boom will also be working with Product Lounge to develop the Thomaspaul brand in Europe. The fashion brand is already well-known in the US, with a range of home products.

Boom will be targeting partners across a range of luxury home and gift categories including rugs, bedding and social expression.
